Students who do not meet the minimum requirements for participation will not be permitted on stage the evening of June 5th. However, they are welcomed to be in the audience during the ceremony provided they are in the company of a parent/guardian. Students may also be in the group picture which will be taken at 5:00 p.m. the night of promotion, and may take part in the reception following the ceremony.

Principal's message

Welcome to Hillsdale Elementary and WPCS/Eastside! I am very excited to be your Principal for the 2022-2023 school year.
First, a little bit about me. This is my 29th year in Education in various roles; teacher, Instructional Coach and Vice Principal. A fun fact is that I was a classroom teacher for 14 years, 6 of which were right here at Hillsdale! I always feel like I have come back “home” in a lot of ways. Once a husky always a husky…and a bulldog!
Our staff have worked tirelessly to prepare and deliver the best possible educational environment for your children. My goal is to ensure that our entire Hillsdale/Eastside community are healthy, happy, safe and learn together to reach new levels of achievement. I look forward to working with you to best support our students’ needs, meet their academic goals and have a successful school year.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns or just a good story to share! It is through our partnership that we will be able to do what’s best for students each and every day.
Kris Jordan
